Three pieces. No real-time mixing, no scheduling chaos.
1 · Form a Studio
Studios are tight groups built around a leader. Browse open spots, request to join, or spin up your own and invite Jamster Artists by username.
2 · Trade takes
24-bit/48 kHz WAV stems with automatic MP3 proxies for streaming. Five rolling versions per role — experiment freely without losing the take you liked yesterday.
3 · Release
Leader picks the master, everyone tunes their unveiling preferences, and the song goes public. Fans listen, vote, and message the band.
Contributors come and go. Mark yourself away for a stretch, or have the leader move you to the Sub list while you're off doing other things. Your spot stays. No bridge-burning.
Per-studio group chats, per-song whiteboards, and direct DMs — with typing indicators, read receipts, and email/SMS notifications you actually control.
Every upload bumps a rolling buffer of five. The leader marks the current working take. Old versions stick around long enough to A/B; the rest evicts itself.
Released songs go to a public leaderboard. Paid fans send Meet & Greet messages straight to the band. Each contributor decides how much of themselves to unveil — real name, location, links — song by song.
Spec'd Ghost Rule, Silent-Member removal vote, and Leader Succession flow. The platform keeps a band from going stuck on inactivity without forcing the leader to be the bad guy.
A 90-second WAV upload that fellow Jamster Artists can hear before inviting you. Optional but it's the difference between a username and a player.
